ParthenonÕs construction began in 447BC and completed in 432BC. It shows the culmination of the development of the Doric order. It is a symbol of ancient Greece and of Athenian democracy.
Colosseum
started its construction between 70 and 72 AD under the emperor Titus Flavius Vespasianus
(9-79 AD) and was
completed in 80 AD under Titus
Flavius Caesar Vespasianus (39-81 AD) with further modifications being made during the reign
of Titus
Flavius Domitianus (51-96 AD).
The Pantheon, built by Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa (c. 63 BC–12 BC) as a temple to all the gods of Ancient Rome, was rebuilt by Publius Aelius Hadrianus (76-138 AD) in about 126 AD.
