This course aims at a study of Christian faith expressed in forms receptive to vision.
Different places and periods will be studied and be compared in order to show the essence of the visual expression of faith.
It will focus on how the form of buildings, culptures, paintings can generate meanings that affect individual enlightenment.
As a comparative study, this course will include artifacts of faith such as symbols, icons, paintings and sculptures from the last 20 centuries covering the East and the West.
目的:研習基督徒信仰的視覺表達，範圍包括過去二十世紀及東方與西方基督宗教的視覺表達。 旨在:獲取視覺信仰的精萃，包括建築，彫塑，繪畫等啓發人覺悟的原則。 方法:分析及比較不同地方及時間的基督信徒，在信仰的視覺表達中不同的經驗，及如何產生意義並促使個人的啟悟。 預期成果:能掌握視覺表達與信仰回應的原理及規則，進而培養一種寬容的生活態度。 |
